This afternoon (11/23/22), in our Rambam Bekius mini-shiur, we learned a very short halacha about the hierarchy of tzedakah recipients - a topic that might be viewed as controversial in the "woke" climate of 2022, which is all the more reason why we should learn it. Most of what we discussed was our own speculations. Next time (בג"ה) we'll learn the Rambam's explanation for this hierarchy.
