This afternoon (11/30/21), in our Rambam Bekius chavurah, we decided to spend the rest of the week taking up assorted Chanukah-related topics in the writings of the Rambam. We began with the Rambam's presentation of the events of Chanukah and its founding, just for the sake of review. We didn't exactly break new ground, but review is always good. We then started learning the halachos pertaining to the Menorah in Hilchos Beis ha'Bechirah. That proved to be confusing, and the diagram definitely helped (sorry to those who only hear this in podcast form).
Note: I don't recommend listening to today's shiur or yesterday's unless you are REALLY interested in this highly technical and confusing topic! There are far more interesting shiurim out there, including these three Chanukah shiurim I gave in Rambam Bekius last year.
